How to create a website with only CAD pricing

Follow these steps to create a website of products with only CAD pricing.
Before following these style you must already have a website created in your DistributorCentral account.
Please note, you cannot display both USD and CAD pricing on one DC website.

First we'll need to update the website's currency filter: 

1. From your Hosting Manager, click Manage to the right of your website
   
   
2. In the Website’s manager, click the Preferences link to the far right (next to the Edit button)
   
   
   
3. In the website preferences page, click General in the left category menu
   
   
   
4. With “General” selected in the left category menu, scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the preference labeled “All monetary values on this website should be displayed as:”
   
   
   
5. In the dropdown, select Canadian Dollars (CAD)
   
   
   
6. Click Save in the bottom right
   
   
   
7. Once your changes have saved, click the Close Preferences button at the top of your website preferences page
   

Now that the website's currency filter is configured for CAD, let apply a global filter to show only products that have CAD pricing available: 

1. Back in your websites hosting manager, find the website Product Collections section
   
   
   
2. Next, click the Manage button
   
   
   
3. In the Global Filters section of your website’s Product Collections, click “Add Global Filter”
   
   
4. Next, in the Add Global Filter pop-up, click Currency - found under Common filters section
   
   
5. In the Currency selector screen, click the plus icon to the right of CAD (this will move CAD from the left to the right “Selected Options” column)
   
   
6. Once the CAD currency is moved to Selected Options, click Save
   
   
   
7. You’ll return to the Product Collection manager where you’ll see Currency added as a Global Filter.
   
   
8. Moving forward you can manage your other Product Collections as normal and the CAD currency will be applied to all collections automatically. 

Warning! If the global currency filter is removed, products with CAD and/or USD pricing will appear in search results. Products that have only USD pricing will not display pricing on product details pages or in product ribbons and cannot be ordered on your website.

Take note of the number of products in your collections. If no products meet the collections filter criteria in addition to the global CAD Currency filter you’ll see “0 products in this collection”.
