Attributes

Examples: 
Size, color, weight, dimensions, etc.

 

Blank Product

A product sold without any customization or branding, often used as a base for further personalization.

Example: 
Undecorated shirt

 

Bullet Points

Short, concise, and easy-to-read statements that highlight the key features, benefits, and specifications of a product.

Example:

  • Ergonomic Design

Category

Classification of products that share similar characteristics, features, or purposes.

Example:
Writing Instruments

 

Decoration (Imprint Method)

The technique or process used to apply a logo, design, text, or other customization to a product.

Example:
Screenprint, Embroidery

 

Decoration Area (Imprint Area)

The actual size or space of the decoration location.

Example: 
3.5" x 2"

 

Decoration Charge

An additional fee applied for customizing a product with a logo, design, text, or other branding elements.

Example:
$2.50

 

Decoration Colors

The colors used to customize or brand a product with logos, text, or designs.

Example:
Red, Black, Blue, Yellow

 

Decoration Location

The specific spot or position on the product where the customization or branding will be applied.

Example: Front, Back, Chest

 

Description

Distributor Only Info

Details, resources, or materials specifically intended for use by authorized distributors or resellers and not for the general public or end customers.

Example: Product price details, exclusive offers, order terms & conditions

 

FOB Point

The specific location where ownership and responsibility for a product transfer from the supplier (manufacturer or distributor) to the buyer (distributor or customer).

Imprint Method (Decoration)

The technique or process used to apply a logo, design, text, or other customization to a product.

Example: Screenprint, Embroidery

 

Keywords

Words or precise phrases that describe a product and are intended to supplement a products's name, bullet points, and description.

Example: ink pen

 

Lead Time (Production Time)

The time it takes from when an order is placed to when the customized products are ready for delivery.

Example: 9 days

 

List Price (Retail Price or MSRP)

The price a product is originally offered for sale before any discounts, promotions, or other adjustments are made.

Example: $10.00

 

Margin Code (Discount Code)

A value or code used to define the markup or profit margin applied to a product or service

Net Price

he actual price a customer will pay after all discounts, promotions, taxes, or other adjustments have been applied to the List Price.

Origination Zip Code

The location where the product is shipped from, essentially the starting point of the shipment.

Example: 94043

 

Part

A component or item that makes up a larger promotional product.

Example: Pen clip, Pen Grip

 

Part Group

A collection of related parts

Example: Pen components

 

Price Break

A reduction in the unit price of a product when a customer buys a certain amount. Typically, there's a better price per unit as the order size increases.

Example: $10.00, $9.25, $8.50, $7.50

 

Product ID (Product Number, Style #, or SuplItemNo)

The associated Unique Product ID for this supplier.

Example: R1234

 

Product Name

A concise, clear, and descriptive title that identifies the product and often highlights key features or its primary use.

Example: UltraGlide Ballpoint Pen

 

Product Number (ProductID, Style#, or SuplItemNo)

The associated unique identification number for the product.

Example: R1234

 

Production Time (Lead Time)

The time it takes from when an order is placed to when the customized products are ready for delivery.

Example: 9 days

 

Quantity Break

Specific quantity thresholds or ranges that trigger a price change. It's the point at which a price break occurs

Example: 

50, 100, 200, 500

 

Setup Charge

Fees associated with preparing the product for customization (e.g., setting up screens for printing, engraving, or embroidery).

Example:

$50.00

 

Style # (Product ID, Product Number, or SuplItemNo)

The associated unique identification number for the product.

Example:

Subcategory

The associated unique identification number for the product.

Example:

The associated unique identification number for the product.

Variants

A specific version or option of a product that differs in certain attributes, such as size, color, or other characteristics.
